The senior South African batter has now added several new records to his name. The innings, marking just the second ton of his T20I career, came off just 47 balls.

He has now become the first cricketer in the world to have registered T20I hundreds under 50 balls more than once in the format. His previous ton against Bangladesh came off just 35 deliveries back in 2017.

Miller also surpassed former Indian captain MS Dhoni in terms of most runs scored in T20I death overs. Between 17-20 overs in T20Is, the left-hander has piled up 857 runs.

Dhoni, with 856 runs in the same bracket, has now slipped to second. Pakistan’s Shoaib Malik (745 runs), Afghanistan’s Najibullah Zadran (715 runs) and Mohammad Nabi (677 runs) and India’s Virat Kohli (665 runs) are next best on the list.

Moreover, the Proteas batsman is also the leading run-getter in the final five overs across all T20Is. Between overs 16-20, Miller with 1,083 runs is way ahead of Dhoni’s 1,014 runs.
