India batter Shubman Gill smacked the Pakistan bowlers, especially Shaheen Shah Afridi, left, right, and centre in the Super Four fixture of the Asia Cup 2023.

It was expected that the Indian openers Shubman and Rohit Sharma would have a nervous energy around them while facing the likes of Shaheen and Naseem Shah, considering how they fared in the previous clash. However, things changed for good in favour of India as both Shubman and Rohit adopted a no-holds-barred approach.

Asked to bat first, Rohit ended Shaheen's first over with a majestic flick that yielded six runs.
