No Digvesh Rathi As Rishabh Pant's LSG Asked To Bat First vs Gujarat Titans

In the ongoing IPL 2025 match between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium, the Shubman Gill-led side won the toss and opted to field first. Talking about the two teams, GT are playing the same team, but LSG are without Digvesh Rathi, who is serving a one-match ban.

It is worth noting that Pant, when asked about his choice, revealed that he too would have looked to field first against Gujarat Titans.

GT vs LSG: Captains Thought

Rishabh Pant: "Would have bowled first, it looks a good wicket (pitch). There is a challenge when you are already eliminated, but we take pride in playing cricket. As a team, we are trying different options that give ourselves the best chance of winning."

Shubman Gill: "We will bowl first. It looks like a good wicket. Will be good to have a target on the board. We want momentum heading into the qualifiers, these two games are going to be equally important."
