Saly Samson Overshadows Brother Sanju With Stunning All-Round Show In KCL 2025

Kerala Cricket League 2025 is off to an entertaining start, and in the second match of the season, Kochi Blue Tigers were up against Trivandrum Royals. The match drew special attention as Sanju Samson featured for Kochi Blue Tigers, and there were expectations that he would deliver something special.

However, much to the disappointment of fans, Sanju Samson did not come out to bat. He, however, got together with his brother and captain Saly Samson to produce a run-out of Subin S.

Saly Samson Smashes Unbeaten Fifty In KCL 2025

Saly Samson, though, did not stop there; he opened the bowling for his team and delivered two economical overs. He also took a fantastic catch, and then the 34-year-old came up with an unbeaten knock of 50 runs off 30 balls.

He scored five fours and three sixes in his knock and delivered a true captain's performance. The innings was special because every other batter in the match struggled to score runs at a good strike rate, but Saly Samson was an exception. He scored his fifty at a rate of 166 and has started the Kerala Cricket League 2025 with a bang.

Kochi Blue Tigers Dominate Their Opening Match

Overall, it was a dominating win for Kochi Blue Tigers. They bowled first and cleaned up the Royals for just 97. Akhin Sathar and N Mohammed Ashik picked three wickets apiece for the Tigers, and then, with the bat, the chase was completed in the 12th over.

Kochi Blue Tigers would now be hoping that they continue their domination in the upcoming matches as well. Sanju Samson, who is in India's Asia Cup 2025 squad, did not bat in the first match, and fans would be hoping they see some Sanju magic in the next encounter.
