With the ball, Reece Topley made a good comeback in the last game after conceding over fifty runs in the first game against MICT. Overall, a pretty balanced side on paper and it will take some stopping with the kind form they are in, particularly with the bat.

Joburg Super Kings

It has been a horrible start to the second edition for the Super Kings. Firstly, their first game was a washout due to relentless wet weather, which was followed by a one-sided thrashing at their own backyard against the mighty MI Cape Town.

Nothing went right for the men in yellow in their game against MICT, where their bowlers were brutally taken down right from the word go. Lizaad Williams was the only positive with the ball for the Super Kings where he bowled two superb overs towards the end to put a break on the high-flying scoring rate.

With the bat, it was a disappointing performance from the Super KIngs as they lost four wickets inside the powerplay and went on to get bowled out for 145. Leus du Plooy and Romario Shepherd tried to do some damage control but it was too late to restrict the big dent to their NRR.

Heading into this game, JSK might not look for any massive change and will be hoping to get the best out of the conditions in Durban to register their first win of the tournament. In the team news, there has not been any major update on Gerald Coetzee availability for this match.
