Gaikwad's fifty came in just 38 balls, marking an impressive performance in the T20I series. In the 17th over of the match, Gaikwad managed to get a toe end on the cut past backward point for a couple of runs, reaching his half-century. 

Although slightly slower compared to Ishan Kishan and Yashasvi Jaiswal, Gaikwad's innings was characterized by its controlled and steady pace.This fifty not only showcased Gaikwad's ability to anchor the innings but also marked his resilience after an unfortunate diamond duck in the previous game.
