On Monday, September 30, Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal scripted history as they broke the world record and stitched the fastest team fifty in the history of Test cricket. In the ongoing 2nd Test between India and Bangladesh, Rohit and Jaiswal brought up the team fifty in just 18 balls.
The pair broke the world record held by England duo Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope in July 2024 against West Indies when they stitched team fifty in 26 balls.
