After witnessing the highs of Perth, Team India came crashing down as they saw yet another low point in Adelaide after the Aussies won the Test match inside 2.5 days on Sunday. This was India's another humiliating loss at this venue after the 36 all-out disasterclass in 2020.

The Pink-Ball Test in Adelaide was always going to be a challenging task for the visiting team and it was proven right as their batters surrendered in front of the pink-ball as the Australian pace trio of Pat Cummins, Mitch Starc and Scott Boland ran riot across two innings.

How the India Vs Australia Test panned out

India only managed to score 180 and 175 in their combined two innings as all their famed batters crumbled under pressure and under lights.

For Australia, it was once again Travis Head, who stood tall and made a mockery of the Indian bowling attack. At one stage, Australia had lost 3 wickets, but as he has done in the past, Head blasted the Indian attack and slammed a quick-fire century to push the Indian side on the back-foot.

Eventually, the entire Team India failed to deliver the goods as Australia clinched the match by 10-wickets to level the series. Courtesy of this loss, captain Rohit Sharma entered an unwanted list, which comprised of his teammate, Virat Kohli and former skipper, MS Dhoni.

MS Dhoni had two horrendous years as Test captain. In 2011, he lost 4 against England in their own backyard, and the trend continued in 2014 as he suffered 3 losses Vs England and 1 against Australia.

Virat Kohli, arguably India's greatest Test skipper had a momentum slip in 2020-21 period where he lost 4 in a row. Now, Rohit joins the list as he lost three on a trot against New Zealand at home, and suffered another crushing defeat, this time at Adelaide.
