Rohit Sharma achieved yet another milestone during the Champions Trophy clash against Bangladesh as he reached the milestone of 11,000 ODI runs and became the second fastest to reach the milestone. Virat Kohli, his teammate is the fastest to achieve the feat as he did it in just 222 innings.
Rohit, meanwhile bagged this huge achievement in 261 innings as he continue to break all records in ODI cricket. For starters, Rohit had a slow start to his ODI career, but a move to the top of the order in 2013 changed his career as the batter never looked back since then.
At the start of the innings, Rohit needed just 12 runs to go past the 11,000 run mark, and he did it in no time as the India captain became the fourth Indian to join this elusive list, which comprises of Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, and Sourav Ganguly.

Bangladesh batted first and regretted the decision as they lost 5 wickets inside the first 10 overs. However, Jaker Ali and Towhid Hridoy played the innings of their life as both the batters resurrected the innings.
They both played with caution, but scored important runs as Hridoy showed his class and notched up his maiden ODI century. The batter suffered from cramps, but battled it hard to bring up his century as Bangladesh posted a decent total.
