India are playing their first match of the Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium against Bangladesh. In what has panned out as an exiciting clash, Mohammed Shami has led the Indian bowling putting them on the front foot in the game.
Notably, Bangaldesh won the toss for the game and opted to bat first. Shami struck early in the game picking up Soumya Sarkar in the very first over. He followed this up with the wicket of Mehidy Hasan Miraz soon.
Bangladesh were reeling at 35/5 at one stage. However, after this Jaker Ali and Towhid Hridoy struck together a stellar partnership and brought Bangladesh back into the game. It was Shami who broke the partnershi as he got rid off Jaker Ali.
