Pakistan will cross swords against New Zealand on Saturday in the second T20I of the ongoing five-match series. The high-octane face-off is scheduled at the Rawalpindi stadium in Pakistan.

Notably, the first match of the series was called off due to an incessant downpour. After New Zealand opted to bat first, winning a delayed toss, rain intervened again to play spoilsport

So, as both teams gear up for the second game, let's see what Rawalpindi's weather forecast says for Saturday.

Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium Weather Report

The first T20I of the five-match series between Pakistan and New Zealand was abandoned due to rain. Similar weather is expected at Rawalpindi on Saturday, with a passing shower predicted in the morning.

AccuWeather predicts 25 per cent precipitation in the afternoon, which means we might witness another rain-marred face-off between the two outfits.

The temperature is expected to vary between 17 to 27 degrees Celsius, which is ideal for cricket. However, if it rains again, we might see a fixture getting washed out once again in the series.

Regarding Pakistan, the series holds significant importance for the Men in Green, as it will help them prepare for the all-important T20 World Cup in the Caribbean. Meanwhile, New Zealand are without some of their key players, who are currently featuring in the IPL 2024.
