India's Ravindra Jadeja continues his great run in ODI cricket and has achieved yet another record in the limited-overs format. The all-rounder equalled Irfan Pathan's record to become the joint-highest wicket-taker in Asia Cup (ODIs) for India.

Both Jadeja and Pathan have 22 wickets each in Asia Cup ODIs for India, and another wicket will see him leapfrog the former India cricketer to become the highest wicket-taker in this multi-team tournament.

With their opening game against Pakistan getting washed out, India needed a win to seal their place in the Super 4. After opting to bowl first, it was Jadeja, who broke Nepal's batting backbone. Shardul Thakur gave the initial breakthrough, but Jadeja turned things around for India with a brilliant spell.

He took 3 wickets in the innings and finished with a spell of 3 for 40 in 10 allotted overs.

Talking about the contest, despite a solid opening start, Nepal lost the momentum in the middle-overs, losing a flurry of wickets. However, a late flurry from Dipendra Singh Airee and Sompal Kami has helped Nepal post 230 on the board.
