Former Nepalese Captain Paras Khadka issues a 'big' statement amidst Nepal's first-ever encounter against India. Khadka, who is regarded as one of the best cricketers ever to come out of Nepal, has put out his positive thoughts on Twitter (now X). He is very much vocal about Nepal Cricket on social media. Now, he puts out if Nepal can beat India, what will happen?

He invoked a thought among his fan followers igniting the fire. The former Nepal captain seemed very hopeful about Nepal's bowling attack to stop Indian batters from chasing a modest total of 231 runs.

Recently, Nepal qualified for their first-ever Asia Cup this year, and have been in superb form leading up to this tournament. They have shown courage playing against these full-member teams. Even though they lost against Pakistan in the last match, their bowling efforts were applauded. They reduced Pakistan to two wickets inside 25 runs. This halted Pakistan's batting assault from ball one. It even prompted World No 1 batter Babar Azam to hold his attacking mode.

Meanwhile, considering India's rhythm, if Nepal can find and break into their weakness. They stand a real chance. Because in cricket you never know, what happens next. And the game is not over till it's actually over.

Coming onto the ongoing fixture, the Nepalese batters, especially the openers - Aasif Sheikh & Kushal Bhurtel - and Sompal Kami slammed some crucial runs to take the total to 230 runs against high-quality Indian bowling.

The Indian openers came out all guns blazing in the chase, but the rain halted the game yet again just after 13 balls.
