After the 24-run loss against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Punjab Kings' (PBKS) skipper Sam Curran has had a lot of learning from the match which was only his second as the leader of the side.

Bangalore posted 174 on the board on the back of fifties from stand-in skipper Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis as their bowlers did a commendable job to restrict the home side to 150.

After the game, Curran revealed that the duo did a commendable job to provide an extremely good score which their batters couldn't chase down after a poor display of batsmanship on the field.

"I thought we played really well as a group. The way Faf and Virat played was really good as well, credit to them. But at the same time I felt they got away from us too well. In the end we didn't probably bat well enough,"

Adding to this, Sam talked about how they lost the momentum in the game but he also focused on the conditions which the all-rounder felt were quite strange as winds were blowing at a massive speed with rain all set to pour down, although, it never happened.

"They bowled well and we lost wickets early with some run outs as well. The conditions were quite strange as well. We thought it was gonna rain at one stage. Lots to learn from,"

"The games come thick and fast. We go back to Mumbai on Saturday, so I guess it's not panic. It's just about learning from it and I am sure Mumbai will be a really good wicket for our batters as well."

Sam concluded by saying they would be keen to take on Mumbai Indians in their next encounter as the wicket at Wankhede Stadium is a supportive one for batters.
