Unfit Faf du Plessis Subbed After Scoring 84 Against PBKS for Vyshak Vijaykumar

After another class innings from Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) South African import and regular skipper Faf du Plessis who scored an outstanding 84 against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) has been sent out for the second innings. The Proteas batter has been suffering from an injury which is causing him problems on the field.

He was replaced by right-arm pacer Vyshak Vijaykumar who impressed on his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut against Delhi Capitals where he bagged three wickets for 20 runs in his four overs.

Meanwhile, Faf has been in brilliant form with 343 runs in six innings at a strike rate of 166 with as many as four half-centuries so far.

The right-hander has been leading his well too but unfortunately the results haven't fallen in their favour so far with two victories in five games.

Talking about the game, stand-in skipper Virat Kohli struck a 59 forming 137-run stand for the first wicket.

Moreover, Punjab also substituted leg-spinner Rahul Chahar with opening batter Prabhsimran Singh.

By the time of writing, RCB were 20 for the loss of one wicket after the completion of two overs.
