Saurabh Netravalkar has been the stand-out performer with the ball for United States Of America in T20 World Cup 2024 so far and has grabbed the attention of  cricket fans around the world. 

He bowled a match-winning Super Over against Pakistan and against India, he got the better of both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli with the new ball, showing his credentials once again on the big stage.

He is a former India U19 cricketer and was the leading wicket-taker for Men in Blue in 2010 U19 World Cup, and as a former cricketer from Maharashtra, he has special bond with Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav. 

The same was explained by the left-arm seamer in his exclusive chat with OneCricket where he revealed that Rohit was his senior in the Mumbai team and he has practiced with Hitman when he was in the Mumbai circuit.

He added that he has played with Suryakumar Yadav from U15 days and he enjoyed talking and playing with Suryakumar Yadav after a long time, and it was indeed a special moment for him.

"Hum bhi Mumbai se he hai to Rohit Bhai mere senior reh chuke hai, maine unke saath practice kari hai Mumbai ke liye. Surya ke saath mai khela hu, U15 se saath me khele huye hai, ache baate huye, purani yaade. Acha laga unke saath phirse khelne ka chance mila, to emotional moment tha mere liye."


USA have also made history by qualifying for Super 8 in this World Cup 2024 and will face West Indies in their first game of Super 8 at the Kensington Oval, Barbados.
