Thus, the pacer has been an important asset for Bangladesh over the years and would be crucial for them in the coming years as they look to revive their T20I fortunes.

Mustafizur Rahman is now only behind Shakib Al Hasan in terms of wickets in T20Is. The former all-rounder has 149 wickets in 129 matches and is third in the list of leading wicket-takers, while Rashid Khan is second with 161 wickets. The Kiwi pacer, Tim Southee, is at the top of the list with 164 wickets.
