KL Rahul is an underrated fielder and he proved his worth once again in the ongoing Test match between India and Bangladesh. As of late, KL Rahul has been doing the keeping work for India, but with Rishabh Pant back, the Karnataka batter was back doing fielding duties.

Bangladesh needed an improbable 515 to win the first Test, and despite losing a couple of wickets, the Tigers looked confident and had a positive approach to their game. Even the likes of Mushfiqur Rahim, who is known for being a compact player, looked at his aggressive best and tonked R Ashwin for a maximum towards the deep square leg region.

However, he got a bit carried away and tried to slog the next delivery as well. But he connected from the inside-part of his blade as the ball lobbed towards KL Rahul at mid-on. The fielder charges forward and puts in a brilliant dive to grab the ball inches above the ground.

The decision was sent upstairs for a clean catch, and the third umpire stood with the original decision as KL Rahul had pulled off an outrageous catch to send Mushfiqur back to the hut.
