MS Dhoni Controversy Erupts As Official Broadcaster Questions His LBW Decision

When MS Dhoni is at the crease, fans expect plenty of fireworks and long sixes. However, on Friday during the clash between Chennai Super kings and Kolkata Knight Riders, a big controversy erupted as MS Dhoni's lbw dismissal triggered the official broadcaster to question third umpire's decision.

Normally, MS Dhoni is spot on with his reviews, but this time, he missed the trick as the replays showed there was no edge and the ball was hitting the pad. However, to everyone's surprise, there was a faint-edge as the ball was near the bat and the same issue was raised by the official broadcaster on X, seemingly criticising the third umpire.

The decision to bowl first was a tactical brilliance as CSK lost the openers cheaply. However, Vijay Shankar, came up with a positive frame of mind as he scored some quick-fire runs, but once he was dismissed, wickets tumbled at regular intervals.

MS Dhoni once again batted at number 9 and failed to deliver the goods as he was dismissed for 1. Shivam Dube was the lone warrior and scored an unbeaten 31 as he helped CSK cross the 100-run mark.
