MI Star Tilak Varma Scores Back To Back Ducks In Vijay Hazare Trophy

Mumbai Indians star, Tilak Varma has been in horrendous form as of late as the Hyderabad batter has looked out of sorts in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy and registered his second duck on a trot.

Against Nagaland, he was expected to perform well, but the southpaw had a shocking game and crumbled to a 3-ball duck. In the ongoing match against Mumbai, Tilak was expected to put on a great show, however, it seems as if he gave Mumbai a Christmas gift as he was dismissed for a 2-ball duck.

In two games so far, he has looked out of touch and has found it difficult to get in his groove. In the clash against Mumbai, the ball was doing a bit as Atharva Ankolekar produced the magic and knocked the Hyderabad batter for a duck.

With Tilak Varma gone, Hyderabad are under immense pressure as they have already lost 5 wickets for 130 runs, with most of the recognised batters dismissed.

Prior to VHT, Tilak was in excellent form

Hyderabad's hopes were pinned on Tilak's form, but the southpaw has been a disappointment so far. However, this wasn't the case a couple of days ago. In SMAT 2024, he produced stellar numbers and also slammed a stellar 150 against Meghalaya.

Prior to that, Tilak had a brilliant series against South Africa, where he hammered back-to-back tons to help India win the series.

Hyderabad will now hope that the dashing batter can get back amongst the run-getters in the next match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
