South African pacer, Marco Jansen has landed in huge trouble as the lanky pacer raised many eyebrows with his huge no-ball in the second Test match Vs Pakistan. His front-foot was planted miles outside the popping crease as the pacer came under the scanner.
His on-field action was similar to what Pakistan pacer, Mohammad Amir did in the Test match Vs England in 2010, when the pacer was caught in spot-fixing allegations.
The incident occurred in his first over of the innings as he bowled a length ball to Pakistan's new opener, Babar Azam and the camera immediately shifted the focus towards Jansen, whose right leg was miles ahead of the crease as doubts raised regarding spot-fixing issue.
Fans are remembering Amir, who did the same mistake and it turned out to be a career-threatening one as the pacer was banned for nearly 5 years.
Jansen hammers Pakistan bowlers with the bat
Not only with the bowl, but Marco Jansen is equally effective with the bat and he showed it with the bat against the Pakistan side. Coming into bat with the platform set, Jansen tonked the opposition bowlers and hammered 62 off 54 balls as the visiting attack looked helpless.
Jansen gets Ghulam!
He came back with the ball and was equally effective as the Pakistan top-order failed to read him through his hands. While Shan Masood was dismissed by Kagiso Rabada, Jansen did the job by cleaning up their new number 3, Kamran Ghulam as the home side are in a dominant position.
