India's right-handed wicket-keeper batter, KL Rahul has once again failed to make it count  during the second and final ODI between India A and Australia A at the Melbourne Cricket Ground where he departed early.

BCCI's decision to add KL Rahul in the India A squad did not bore any fruit as he departed for a low-score of four runs in the first innings and now once again he left the crease after scoring just 10 runs off 44 balls. The Karnataka born batter's form has been a big cause of concern for the Indian side especially with the Border Gavaskar Trophy right around the corner.

KL Rahul's Forgetful Dismissal

Not just against Australia A, KL's stats in the recent past have not done justice to the chances he has gotten. In the 18th over, Corey Rocchiccioli, a spinner, bowled an over the wicket delivery, Rahul failed to move his feet as he expected the ball to spin down the leg side. He moved back in the crease and did not play the delivery, and the ball brushed the pad and snuck through to hit the top of the off stump.

It seemed like KL was confident after being out in in the crease for 44 balls however his dismissal was embarrassing and horrific in every single way. KL Rahul was clueless as he could not figure the ball movement. With this wicket, India A were in deep waters after losing their top 4 without even getting the lead.

At the time of writing, India A are at 71/5 with Nitish Kumar Reddy and Dhruv Jurel in the crease.
