Delhi Capitals beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 6 wickets in IPL 2025. KL Rahul and Tristan Stubbs’ 111-run partnership played a huge role in DC’s win as the duo also ended up scripting a record in the franchise’s history. 

DC have been on a roll this IPL 2025 season as they remain the only unbeaten team this year. With 4 wins in 4 games, the Capitals jumped to 2nd spot on points table.

Their latest victory came against RCB as KL Rahul’s swashbuckling 93* off 53 balls helped DC seal a comfortable 6-wicket win.

KL Rahul-Tristan Stubbs Script History With 111-Run Partnership

Delhi Capitals’ top order flattered in the 164-run chase against RCB. The top 3 batters went back on single-digit scores but KL Rahul anchored the inning to slam an outstanding knock. He accumulated 50 runs off 37 balls before switching gears in the 15th over where he slammed Josh Hazlewood for 22 runs.

The momentum shifted into DC’s favour as they wrapped up the chase in 17.5 overs to complete a 6-wicket commanding win. Meanwhile, Rahul and Tristan Stubbs knitted a 111-run partnership for the 5th wicket, which is the highest ever recorded in DC’s franchise history.

The last big 5th wicket partnership for Delhi came in 2014 when JP Duminy and Ross Taylor stacked 110 runs together against the same opponent, RCB at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
