India wicketkeeper batter KL Rahul continued his great run of form across formats as they faced New Zealand in 2nd ODI of the three-match series in Rajkot on January 14, as the batter scored a rescue ton to guide India to a formidable first innings total to clinch the series.
After losing three quick wickets, India were reduced from 99/1 to 118/4 in 23.3 overs when Rahul took the onus to bail India out and scored a 112*(92) with 11 fours and a six, which took him to the three-figure mark. Having come into bat in the 22nd over, he carried the bat and got India to 284/7 on a not-so-easy track to bat on.
