The old KL Rahul is back in form as the batter slammed his first century of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season against a quality Gujarat Titans bowling attack. After spending considerable amount of time in the middle order, KL was promoted at the top and he didn't disappoint.

The DC opener smashed a 60-ball hundred and this was his 5th hundred in the league as he took DC to a competitive total in a must-win clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. With KL Rahul reaching the three-figures mark, here is a list of players with most IPL centuries.

List of players with most IPL centuries

RCB star opener, Virat Kohli sits at the top of the list with 8 centuries to his name. His last ton came against RR last season. Jos Buttler, the former RR and now GT batter has 7 centuries, but he has attained the milestone in just 119 innings.

Chris Gayle occupies the third spot with 6 centuries to his name (for RCB and PBKS). Shubman Gill, the GT captain is at the fifth position, but interestingly, apart from Gill, there are others who have scored 4 IPL tons, but he achieved the target in fewer innings and hence sits at the fifth spot.

KL Rahul opened with Faf du Plessis and the Proteas batter departed cheaply. KL then stitched crucial partnerships with Abishek Porel, Axar Patel and Tristan Stubbs as the team reached a strong total. KL remained unbeaten at 112 off 65 balls, which included 14 fours and 4 sixes.
