Kagiso Rabada is champion bowler across formats but his exploits in Test cricket often goes unnoticed. One of the best bowlers in red-ball cricket, Rabada created history on Wednesday, June 11 and became the 4th highest Test wicket-taker in South African history. The right-arm seamer surpassed Allan Donald to etch his name in history books.
Rabada surpasses Allan Donald, keeps an eye on Dale Steyn
At the start of the WTC finale Vs Australia, Rabada had 327 Test scalps and needed 4 wickets to surpass Donald. The pacer only needed 2 sessions to achieve the record as he took the wicket of Beau Webster and entered his name in history books. With 331 wickets to his name, Rabada now eyes Dale Steyn's record for the most wickets by a Proteas player in Tests.
Steyn had 439 wickets, and the 30-year-old still needs a handful of scalps to go past one of the best in the business.

How Rabada dismantled to take 5-wicket haul in WTC final
Under overcast conditions, Temba Bavuma asked Australia to bat first and the decision paid off as Rabada was at his best and he dismantled Usman Khawaja for a duck. He then dismissed the returning Cameron Green for just 4 to leave the Aussies in a precarious situation.
In the second session, the Australian team had the upper-hand but at the start of session 3, the right-arm seamer once again showed his class and in quick successions knocked over Pat Cummins, Mitch starc and Beau Webster to complete a memorable 5-wicket haul at Lord's.
