In a remarkable achievement, ace South African speedster Kagiso Rabada went past legendary all-rounder Jacques Kallis following his sensational first spell in the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia. Opening the bowling for the Proteas, Rabada got rid of Usman Khawaja and Cameron Green, eclipsing Kallis on an elusive list of South African cricketers.

After Temba Bavuma won the toss and opted to bowl first, the South African pacers made the most of the conditions, keeping the Australians at bay in the initial overs. Their disciplined bowling effort eventually paid rich dividends for the Proteas, with Kagiso Rabada outfoxing Khawaja and Cameron Green in quick succession. 

Rabada's twin strikes helped him go past Jacques Kallis on the list of South Africa's most successful bowlers against Australia in Test cricket.

Riding on Kagiso Rabada's exceptional new-ball burst and disciplined efforts from Marco Jansen and Wiaan Mulder, South Africa reduced Australia to three down in no time. As of writing, the defending champions were in a spot of bother, with their scoreboard reading 58 for three in 21 overs.
