The battle between the India and Australia is heating up in the fifth and final Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. After the home team took the advantage in the first day of the match, India bounced back early during the second day of the match with some quick wickets.

Notably, Jasprit Bumrah won the toss ahead of the game and opted to bat first. The Australian bowlers led by Scott Boland ran rampagnt over the Indian batting line-up and bundled them out for 185.

It was looking like the Aussies will take a stronghold of the Indian team. However, the first wicket fell at the end of the first day and that put the home team on the back foot. Bumrah also picked up the wicket of Labuschagne early on day 2 and put more pressure on the Australian team.

The Indian skipper was backed by other pacers as Siraj also stepped with two important wickets of Sam Konstas and Travis Head. Despite the other Indian bowlers doing a great job, Jasprit Bumrah looked like the best bowler of the Indian attack.

Is Bumrah Actually Using Sandpaper?

The fact that the Australian batters are not able to tackle Bumrah successfully might not have gone down well with the fans and followers of the team. A new video has been made viral on the social media by Australian supporter claiming that Jasprit Bumrah is using sand paper to game unfair advantage.

In the video, Bumrah is seen taking off his shoe and something falling from inside it. It is still unclear what it was, however, in it looked like padding inside the shoes which is generally there for most of the fast bowlers to ensure comfortable landing in their delivery stride.
