Hardik Pandya, the GT skipper has lost the toss in the final and has been made to bat first by MS Dhoni. It has been a long wait with rain spoiling the party on 28th May and thankfully, the weather is clear on the reserve day.

Hardik Pandya said that they would have bowled first as well after winning the toss. However, he added that his heart was telling him to bat first and he doesn't mind losing the the toss. He stated that rain is out of their control and they don't want to think about it too much.

"We would have bowled first as well. My heart was saying I want to bat so I don't mind losing the toss. I think we spoke that it is something which is out of control. The rain and other things are not something that we can control,"

The GT skipper also added that if the players are relaxed, one can get the best out of them and he tries to keep the atmosphere in the dressing room relaxed. Hardik also said that his teammates are all on the same page and it's a flat track. He signed off by informing that they are playing the same team.

"We try to, if your players are relaxed, you tend to get the best out of them. So I try to keep them relaxed, make sure that they are enjoying the sport. Our boys are good boys. They are sweet boys, I like to keep them cool. It's a flat track. Same team from the last game."

Gujarat Titans (GT) are the defending champions and they would be looking to defend their title against MSD and his boys who will be upbeat about their chances after beating GT in Qualifier 1.
