Defending 158 for victory, the Mumbai Indians (MI) have called in left-arm chinaman spinner Kumar Kartikeya to replace Tim David in the XI against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The side have been struggling for wickets with just one down after the end of six overs.

Earlier, David struck a rescuing 31 from 22 balls as he managed two fours and a six at a strike rate of 140. Mumbai, in the end, could reach 157 after the end of 20 overs as they did recover a bit after being 76 for 5 in 9.1 overs.

On the other hand, Kartikeya has an important role to play with wickets required in middle to halt the opposition.

Their have been plenty of impact players in the IPL so far with teams choosing according to their requirements in mostly second half of the match.

Some of the players have left immediate impact while others have had an opposite impact on the outcome of the game.

On the match front, Ajinkya Rahane thumped the fastest half-century of the tournament in just 19 balls to provide a solid base to the side after the early loss of Devon Conway.
