In a remarkable achievement, explosive batter Ishan Kishan attained a phenomenal feat following his blistering knock against Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2025. Coming at 3, the swashbuckling batter hammered a belligerent hundred, helping SRH claim the driving seat. 

Ishan Kishan Attains Massive Feat With Scintillating Ton

Ishan stole the show with his blistering batting, bringing up his century in 45 deliveries. With this ton, he became the first SRH batter to slam an IPL hundred against Rajasthan Royals. Thus, he broke Manish Pandey's record for the highest individual score by a SRH batter against RR in the IPL. 

After winning the toss and opting to bowl first, Rajasthan Royals had a forgettable start, as Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head smashed their bowlers to all parts of the ground. Although Abhishek departed for 21, Ishan and Head continued their onslaught, frustrating the visitors with their scintillating stroke play. 

Head hammered a flamboyant 31-ball 67, Ishan struck an unbeaten knock of 105 runs off just 47 deliveries. His extraordinary knock, which involved eleven fours and six sixes, powered SRH to a mammoth 286-run total in 20 overs. 

Jofra Archer Records Infamous Milestone

In another development, England's experienced fast bowler Jofra Archer registered the most expensive spell in IPL history. The ace speedster conceded 76 runs while going wicketless in his four-over spell. Ishan's fireworks ensured a forgettable day for Archer and it will take a monumental effort by RR to chase the target.
