Riyan Parag is an animated character and often makes the headlines due to his celebrations or acts on the field. Notably, he is currently leading the RR team against SRH in the second match of IPL 2025. 

Sunrisers' Batters Destroy The RR bowlers

Riyan Parag won the toss ahead of the game and put the Sunrisers to bat. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma started the innings in their signature style attacking the Rajasthan batters. Even though Sharma was dismissed after a start, the onslaught continued from Head and Ishan Kishan. 

Travis Head destroyed the RR bowlers and got out after playing an impactful knock. The baton then passed on to Ishan Kishan. The onslaught from Sunirsers forced the RR bowlers to change their line.

Umpire's Call Annoys Deshpande and Parag

In the 12th over, Tushar Deshpande was seen trying stay out of Kishan's range looking to bowl slower and outside the off stump. As he delivered the fifth ball of the over and the Indian southpaw failed to reach the ball, the umpire signalled it as a wide. 

The call by the umpire disappointed the bowler, Tushar Deshpande and also the captain of the Royals. Riyan Parag fielding in the deep was seen annoyed by the call. He was seen expressing his annoyance on the call.
