Punjab Kings' IPL sensation Priyansh Arya had another disappointing outing in the Delhi Premier League 2025 as he was dismissed cheaply in the ongoing encounter against Purani Delhi-6. Opening the batting for Outer Delhi Warriors, Arya managed just 16 runs before Rajneesh Dadar got his prized scalp in the match.

Priyansh Arya Records Another Low Score In DPL 2025

It's worth mentioning that Priyansh Arya rose to prominence following his stellar returns in the previous DPL season. He grabbed the limelight by hitting six consecutive sixes in an over, eventually bagging a lucrative IPL contract from Punjab Kings in the 2025 mega auction.

However, Arya has definitely not at his best in the tournament's ongoing season. The swashbuckling southpaw failed to convert his brisk 26-run start in the last game; however, his today's performance shambolic, to say the least.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Outer Delhi Warriors had a superb start to their innings, with Arya and Sanat Sangwan adding 45 runs for the first wicket. However, while Sangwan looked rock-solid, smashing two boundaries and sixes for his 26-run knock, Arya struggled to time the ball and get going against Purani Delhi's disciplined bowling effort.

He eventually fell prey to a magnificent delivery from Dadar, who castled him in the very last over of the powerplay. The left-handed batter took 19 deliveries for his 16-run knock, leaving the Outer Delhi fans disappointed at Arun Jaitley Stadium

Thus, Arya has so far managed 42 runs across two innings at an average of 21 and a mediocre strike rate of 123.53. However, considering his potential, Arya can definitely change his fortunes in the upcoming matches.

Regarding the game, Outer Delhi Warriors were reeling at 69 for three in 8.3 overs, with Keshav Dabas batting on 5* as of writing.
