On Monday, April 23, Mumbai Indians locked horns against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi international stadium. Ahead of the much-awaited clash, both teams and the fans present inside the stadium, observed a minute-long silence to pay tribute to 28 lives lost in a brutal terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir.

On Tuesday, April 22, the terrorist opened firing at tourists in Pahalgam, who were there to enjoy their vacation. In a homage to the victims who lost their lives, BCCI had issued an advisory earlier in the day that the players will wear a black arm-band and also observe a minute-long silence for peace and humanity.
