Total of 28 civilians were killed, and it has again brought open the indifferent relation between India and Pakistan. There have been tensions between the two countries for a long time, and the last bilateral series between the two happened in 2012. In the last few years, there have been demands of a bilateral series between the two countries, but now the recent incident has again put those aspirations on the backfoot.

Now, Rajeev Shukla, the vice-president of BCCI has also commented on the incident and the cricketing relations between India and Pakistan. The veteran stated that they are they condemn attack and they would do whatever the government says them to do. He added that they don't play bilateral series with Pakistan anymore and they will not in do in future also.

He mentioned that they have to play with Pakistan in ICC tournaments because of the engagements with the apex board, and they will take the action that is required.

"We are with the victims and we condemn it. Whatever our government will say Will do. We don't play with Pakistan in bilateral series because of the government stand. And we will not play with Pakistan in bilaterals going forward. But when the it comes to ICC event we play due to ICC engagement. ICC is also aware whatever is happening they will do it".

India and Pakistan will go head-to-head next in the Women's World Cup, and it would be interesting to see how both boards approach that tournament after what happened in Kashmir.
