Blesssing Muzrabani Stars In Zimbabwe’s Test Win vs Bangladesh

Coming to the BAN vs ZIM 1st Test, chasing 174 in the fourth innings, the visitors were cruising at 95/0 thanks to a rock-solid stand between Brian Bennett (54) and Ben Curran (44) but Mehidy Hasan Miraz turned the game with a five-wicket haul to send jitters through the Zimbabwean camp.

Just when it looked like Bangladesh might steal it, Wessly Madhevere held his nerve with a gritty unbeaten 19, guiding his side to the finish line with Ngarava hitting the winning runs. But the real hero was Blessing Muzarabani, who bagged 3 in the first innings and a sizzling 6 in the second to finish with 9 for the match.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe will have another chance to better their record in Test cricket when they tale on Bangladesh in the second and final Test of the series starting Monday, April 28 in Chattogram.
