After waiting for a long time, the cricket fans finally got to witness the high-octane Asia Cup face-off between India and Pakistan on the reserve day, with rain staying away from the match. As soon as India resumed their innings, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul started the proceedings on a positive note, ensuring a great start for India.

However, an incident that grabbed fans' attention was a bizarre review from Pakistani skipper Babar Azam to dismiss Virat Kohli when the latter was batting on 19 off 26 deliveries. The incident happened during the 28th over when Pakistani spearhead Naseem Shah was bowling from an end in a bid to break the third wicket partnership.

After keeping it tight in the first five deliveries, Shah sprayed one down the leg, with the ball collected cleanly by Pakistani keeper Mohammad Rizwan after being deflected off Kohli's thigh pad. However, the noise prompted Pakistan to appeal for a caught behind and even opt for a review upon being denied of a wicket by the on-field umpire.

Rizwan and Shah pleaded Babar Azam to go upstairs and the skipper obliged to it. However, there was clear daylight between bat and ball, as the third umpire decided in Kohli's favour.

Seeing the huge gap between bat and ball, fans trolled Azam for his bizarre decision to opt for the DRS.

Meanwhile, Rahul and Kohli have ensured a great start for India, who are well-placed at 193 for two in 32 overs. As of writing, Kohli is batting on 28*, while Rahul has hit a flurry of boundaries, moving to 43* off 56 deliveries.
