In the latest development, Pakistan speedster, Haris Rauf is set to miss today's Asia Cup Super 4 clash against India due to an injury. The official broadcasters stated that Rauf felt some discomfort in his right flank (abdomen area) and will miss sit out as a precautionary measure.

The right-arm seamer was taken for a precautionary MRI, which has revealed no tear.

Rauf is currently under team doctor’s observations and it is likely that he’ll feature in Pakistan’s next match against Sri Lanka.

Rauf had an average outing yesterday against India. Having picked up 3 wickets in the group stage match against Rohit Sharma and his troops, Rauf couldn’t replicate the same performance and was taken to the cleaners by both Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill.

With Rauf’s 5 overs still left to be bowled, Babar Azam will have to sneak in his overs from someone else.

Talking about the match, India are well poised at 147 for 2 inside 25 overs. Rohit and Gill gave India a flying start before the two openers were sent back to the pavilion. Eventually rain god had the last laugh yesterday as the match was pushed to the reserve day (today).
