Well, just 35 overs have been bowled in the Kanpur Test and frustration has creeped in the dressing room of both India and Bangladesh. A riveting contest was expected in the second Test match, but so far, things have not gone according to the plan.

Day 1 and 2 were abandoned due to relentless rain and bad light, and the same is happening on the third day as well. Due to rain, wet patches have been formed on the outfield and the groundstaffs are working hard to get rid off them.

The next inspection will take place at 2 PM IST, but there is a likelihood that the third day will also be called-off, leaving the fans disappointed.

Rain was predicted on all 5 days of the Test match, and while the rain god has stayed away from the Green Park Stadium so far, it has gotten dark and things don't look good at the moment.

As per Accuweather, the chance of rain on Day 3 is only 14 percent, but such has been the intensity of rain on the first couple of days that the ground has been covered in water and puddles have been formed, which will make fielding a difficult task.

Shower is expected late in the evening, but the dark cloud have already been formed over the stadium. If the groundstaffs are able to remove the wet patches on the field, there could be a chance that we get some overs today. The temperature will be around 31-32 degrees, which is ideal for a game of cricket, provide the game takes place.
