In the tenth game of the ongoing CPL 2024, The Guyana Amazon Warriors are up against the St. Lucia Kings at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St. Lucia. 

In the latest development, Guyana Amazon Warriors captain Imran Tahir won the toss and elected to bowl first. 

It is important to mention that Tim Robinson will replace Raymon Reifer and Shamar Joseph will replace Kevin Sinclair in this match for the Warriors. However, St. Lucia Kings will play with the same XI that played in the last match.

The St Lucia Kings have been dominant and secured their position at the top of the points table after two convincing victories. Their latest win over Antigua and Barbuda Falcons was a comfortable one, as they chased down 143 with ease. 

Johnson Charles played a significant knock of unbeaten 47 to stabilise the innings, while with the ball Noor Ahmad's brilliant 3/18 earned him the Player of the Match award. 

Meanwhile, Guyana Amazon Warriors are in third place and also undefeated with two wins. Their recent match saw them put on a batting masterclass, as they posted a mammoth 266 runs. 

Shimron Hetmyer played a stunning 91 off 39 balls, and Rahmanullah Gurbaz chipped in with 69 off 37. Their bowling attack, led by Imran Tahir and Gudakesh Motie, was equally impressive, with both bowlers taking three wickets to dismantle their opposition.

Faf du Plessis: "Similar choice was for me too. I think it is generally a good and high scoring one. We will look to post as much as runs possible on the board. We, the foreign players who came here, found the conditions new. This stadium is really good to bat.
