KBC Contestant Fails To Answer 80,000 INR Question On Shreyas Iyer, Sanju Samson; Wastes Two Lifelines

In one of the recent episodes of Kaun Banega Crorepati, a contestant named Ram Kishor was asked a cricket-related question worth 80,000 rupees. 

The question was about an IPL captain who never represented India in Test cricket. "Which of these players, all of whom were IPL team captains in the year 2024, has never played a test match for India? Option A-Shreyas Iyer, B- Hardik Pandya, C-Sanju Samson, D-Rishabh Pant."

The answer to the question is Sanju Samson, as the Rajasthan Royals captain has never represented India in a Test game. However, Ram Kishor had difficulty answering the question and opted for a lifeline.

Firstly, he made a call to his friend using the 'Phone a friend' lifeline, but his friend could not offer any help with that question. Out of no choice, Ram Kishor had to opt for another lifeline and chose 'Double Dip'

Despite using the double dip, Ram Kishor opted for Shreyas Iyer. After being pointed out by Amitabh Bachchan that the answer was wrong, the contestant opted for Sanju Samson and advanced further in the game as it was the right answer.

Sanju Samson Eyeing To Play Test Cricket

India will play several Test matches coming up as they have Bangladesh and New Zealand series at home, before travelling to Australia and England for crucial away games.

Meanwhile, Sanju Samson would look to impress the selectors by focusing on the domestic season as he also opted to skip the upcoming Kerala Cricket League.
