The India vs Sri Lanka Asia Cup 2025 Super Four clash saw something rarely witnessed in recent major tournaments, a Super Over to end the Super 4 stage. Who would have thought that a dead rubber game could be so enthralling?
India posted 202 runs in their 20 overs to set a target of 203 for Sri Lanka. However, Sri Lanka managed to tie the mammoth total, dragging the game into a Super Over. Orchestrating Sri Lanka’s massive chase were a few expensive spells from the Indian bowlers. The most costly was Harshit Rana, who gave away 54 runs from his 4-over spell.
