Yash Dhull cracked a blistering century in match number 24 of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 season at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Opening the innings for the Central Delhi Kings, the cricketer smeared 105 runs off just 51 balls with 14 boundaries and four huge sixes.
For North Delhi Strikers, captain and Indian fast bowler Harshit Rana picked up three wickets in the high-scoring innings to claim impressive figures of 3-35.
Yash Dhull Tons Up For Central Delhi Kings
Yash Dhull tonked his second century of the DPL 2025 season through the course of his 105-run blitzkrieg against North Delhi Strikers in Delhi. The blistering opener shared a colossal 158-run partnership for the second wicket with number three and half-centurion Yugal Saini (63 off 28) as Central Delhi Kings raced to 176-1 in just 13 overs.
However, captain Harshit Rana fought back for the North Delhi Strikers by picking up three quick wickets at the death. Dismissing Yash Dhull at 105 and picking up the additional wickets of Yugal Saini and Jonty Sidhu for a duck, Rana claimed figures of 3-35 to restrict the Central Delhi Kings to 197-7 in 16 overs.
Apart from Harshit, fellow North Delhi Strikers bowler Arjun Rapria also picked up three wickets in the innings at an expense of just 30 runs, albeit from his two-over spell.
Chasing 198, North Delhi Strikers raced to 85-1 within just the first five overs of their innings. Opening batter Arnav Bugga blasted 43 off just 13 deliveries with five boundaries and three huge sixes.
Yash Dhull, Harshit Rana Continue Prolific Run
With his latest century, Yash Dhull has now aggregated 292 runs in just five innings this DPL 2025 season at a prolific average of 146 and with a staggering strike rate of 180.25. He is currently ranked second among the leading run-getters of the tournament, finding himself only behind Arpit Rana.
Harshit Rana also moved to eight wickets from five innings of DPL 2025 with an impressive bowling average of 18.25.
