In the ongoing Women's World Cup 2025 match between India and Australia in Viazg, the Women in Blue have got off to a flying start as Pratika Rawal and Smriti Mandhana set up the perfect platform with their 155-run opening pair.
The following batters too capitalised on the great start, but Harmanpreet Kaur failed to make it big as the India skipper returned to the pavillion after playing a small cameo of 22 (17), which featured three fours. Kaur looked in great touch, but had a moment where she lost her cool, and it seemed that crushed her concentration.

Notably, on the fourth ball of the 35th over, Kaur had timed a ball towards short cover and wanted a quick single. However, Harleen Deol refused to show interest, and the Indian captain rushed to get back on the crease in time. Kaur blasted Deol for the miscommunication and looked extremely happy with her teammate.
The right-handed batter took her anger out on Megan Schutt and blasted the Australia bowler for consecutive fours. Even after scoring the boundaries, Kaur looked visibly upset with Deol and hurled a mouthful despite the boundaries under her belly.
Kaur and Deol fail to capitalise on good start
Kaur couldn't focus on her batting post that incident and returned to the pavillion in the next over. Harleen Deol too couldn't capitalise on her start and followed up Kaur to the dressing room after scoring 38 (42) that featured three fours and a solitary six.
Talking about the ongoing match, at the time of writing this article, India women are 252/4 after 39 overs and would look to post a nice 300+ total on the board.
