The 5th match of the Women's Premier League (WPL) will feature the Gujarat Giants up against the Mumbai Indians from the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. While Gujarat won their last match against UP Warriors, Mumbai suffered a close-fought defeat Vs Delhi Capitals.

The former WPL champions led by Harmanpreet Kaur will be eager to get the two points on the board in this match, but that won't be an easy task as Gujarat are flying high after the win Vs UP.

Mumbai are a strong side and despite a hiccup against Delhi, they'll be confident of turning things around against Gujarat. The only roadblock for MI's winning ambition would be Ashleigh Gardner, the GG captain, who is in sublime form at the moment. Ahead of the match, let us look at what transpired at the toss.

Who Won The Toss Today: MI set to bowl

Mumbai Indians won the toss and Harmanpreet Kaur had no hesitation in electing to bowl first.  India Under-19 batter G Kamalini will make her Debut tonight for Mumbai Indians Women, as well as Parunika Sisodia.

Both Parunika and Kamalini had a great Under-19 World Cup and were rewarded with a place in the playing XI as MI look to get back to winning ways.

Interestingly, Gujarat have gone in with the same XI which defeated UP in the last clash. Gardner is looking to bring in consistency in the lineup.
