Ace Pakistani speedster Haris Rauf sustained his dream run Down Under, dismantling Australia with a fiery bowling spell in the second One-Day International of the ongoing three-match series at the Adelaide Oval. Rauf, who registered a clinical three-wicket haul in the series opener in Melbourne, bagged five crucial wickets to push the hosts on the back foot.

Hailed for his ability to make the ball talk at a scorching pace, Haris Rauf began his onslaught on Australia, getting the prized wicket of Josh Inglis. He bowled a magnificent delivery to outsmart Australia's Mr. dependable Marnus Labuschagne before getting promising all-rounder Aaron Hardie caught behind the stumps.

However, Glenn Maxwell's dismissal was like icing on the cake, with the in-form seamer castling him at a crucial juncture of the game. If that wasn't enough, he also sent Australian captain Pat Cummins packing, achieving a phenomenal milestone in this process.

Rauf Eclipses Imran And Wasim To Record A Massive Feat

Thus, he became the first-ever Pakistani pacer to record a five-wicket haul in an ODI against Australia at the Adelaide Oval. Apart from Saqlain Mushtaq, he is the only bowler from Pakistan to achieve the feat. This milestone helped him pip the likes of Wasim Akram and Imran Khan, who don't have an ODI fifer against Australia in Adelaide.
