Gujarat Titans (GT) batter Sai Sudharsan has been in terrific form in the ongoing Indian Premier League as he continues to dominate the proceedings with the bat. While Shubman Gill, the GT captain has struggled for runs, Sudharsan has made life easier for his skipper as he continued to pile runs for fun.

In the ongoing clash against the Rajasthan Royals, the southpaw was at his best as he smacked a quick-fire 82 off 53 and has entered the Orange Cap race in the IPL 2025 season. Prior to the game, he had 191 runs and was well off the leaderboard charts.

However, he played a blinder and now surpasses Mitchell Marsh to become the second-highest run-getter in the ongoing season with 273 runs. He is now only behind Nicholas Pooran, who has accumulated 288 runs in 5 matches. He was well behind the Orange Cap race, but now has left LSG batter Mitchell Marsh behind as he has a golden chance to get to the highest run-getter in the next game.

Pooran continues to dominate as he looks invincible at the moment. On the other hand, Sudharsan is taking responsibility of the GT batting lineup. Interestingly, he became the first Indian cricketer to cross the 200-run tally this season with the next highest being Suryakumar Yadav with 199 runs to his name.

Courtesy of his onslaught, GT managed to post 217/6 with Sudharsan 82, and Buttler, Shahrukh Khan scoring 36-runs each.
