When Jofra Archer breathes fire in a Cricket game, the opposition batters fear for their wicket and this was experienced by Gujarat Titans captain, Shubman Gill who was bamboozled by the RR bowler with sheer pace. Archer was too hot to handle for the GT captain as he shattered his stumps with a pearler.
However, the wicket was all a part of the plan from Archer and he was destined to dismiss Gill and here's why.
Gill''s abysmal record against Archer
Prior to the match between GT and RR, Shubman Gill already had an abysmal record against Archer and the RR pacer made sure that the record gets worse as he shattered Gill's stumps.

Struggles against incoming deliveries
Archer has a brilliant in-swinger and has a mastery over it. This is what has troubled Gill at the international level as he is yet to overcome his issues with the incoming balls. He tends to keep the bat away from the pad and allows the ball to sneak between the gap. This is something which Archer exploited to perfection. His head position was also not closer to the ball and he saw the stumps go for cartwheel.
