A heart-wrenching thriller ongoing at the Lord's in London between England and India saw Indian left-handed all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja taking a break between overs. After the end of the 68th over, Jadeja ran toward the dressing room for a toilet break that frustrated the home side, England.

Ravindra Jadeja Runs Towards The Dressing Room For A Toilet Break

In the tense moments of the ongoing third Test between England and India at Lord's in London, Indian batter Ravindra Jadeja ran toward the dressing room for a toilet break.

It all happened after the end of the 68th over, which was bowled by English captain Ben Stokes, as Jadeja went off the field after informing the umpires and the opposition captain. He took a few minutes to come back, which frustrated the home side.

It is worth noting that tea was extended by half an hour after India lost their ninth wicket on 147, as Jasprit Bumrah was dismissed by Stokes. However, with just two overs remaining, or about seven minutes, Jadeja, batting on 54*, ran toward the dressing room and came back after a few minutes.

After the break, Jadeja came back to a rousing reception from the long room, which cheered him up as the Indian fans went wild when the left-hander came back onto the field. The match was at a very nervous point when Jadeja decided to head into the dressing room, which Stokes didn't take kindly, as he was visibly frustrated, as only a few minutes were remaining for Tea.

After Jadeja's return, two more overs were played, which India negotiated safely as Mohammed Siraj batted brilliantly to provide ample support.

Match In Balance As Final Session Remains

With 30 more runs required for victory for India, and one wicket to get for England, the third Test between these sides hangs in the balance as neither side is ready to give up. Jadeja, currently batting at 56* alongside Siraj 2* (20), have kept India's hope alive, as they are 163 for nine after the end of 70 overs, as the last session of this Test will begin after Tea.
