Being one of the finest ever exponents for India with the ball, Jasprit Bumrah has registered his name in an unwanted list with the bat. Surpassing Rohit Sharma and Sachin Tendulkar, Bumrah now sits in fifth position on the list of most ducks for India.
Jasprit Bumrah Registers An Unwanted Record With The Bat
After bowling so many crucial spells for India over his almost decade-long career, Jasprit Bumrah has been India's finest ever bowler in all three formats of the game. Dishing searing yorkers and in-decent bouncers that trouble the batters, Bumrah can swing the ball too.
However, with the bat, his numbers have been dwindling. Going by the stats, Bumrah, who got out on a duck again in the second innings against England in the ongoing third Test at Lord's, registered his 35th duck overall for India in all three formats.
He is now only behind Zaheer Khan, who has 43 ducks, Ishant Sharma (40), Virat Kohli (38), and Harbhajan Singh (37). Whereas, he is now level with Anil Kumble in fifth position with 35 ducks as well.
Interestingly, he left former Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and legendary Sachin Tendulkar with 34 ducks each to their name in their international careers.
Out of Bumrah's 35 ducks in international cricket, 28 of them have come in Test cricket, whereas he has batted in a total of 106 innings so far.

India On Front Foot After England Lose Four Wickets In One Session
On the fourth day of the third Test at the Lord's in London, India reduced England to 87/4 with Mohammed Siraj picking up two while Nitish Reddy and Akash Deep grabbed one each as four of England's top batters were dismissed in an eventful first session. Currently, Joe Root and skipper Ben Stokes are grinding in the middle as England have 117 runs on the board after the end of 30 overs.
